Hume Community Housing is run by a Board of Directors who are volunteers and elected by Hume CHA members.
The Directors have a variety of experience including financial, housing (including tenants), management and legal.

Pat Martin OAM
Pat operated her own educational travel company and was a former secondary school teacher before retirement. She has been involved in the community since 1984 serving on many committees and brought a depth of wisdom and life experience to the governance of Hume and as President of NSW Federation of Housing Associations.
Pat held the position of Chairperson of the Hume Board for over 15 years prior to her appointment as Patron in 2007.
“I became involved with Hume when Fairfield CTS and Liverpool CTS amalgamated and Hume was formed, there was much work to be done to provide low cost housing for those areas and as a volunteer I found the challenge both interesting and very satisfying when results were achieved.” |

Chairperson
Tony is a fully licensed and accredited Strata and Property Manager and has been running his own Real Estate and Strata Management Company since 1976.
Tony is a consultant to solicitors & private individuals in matters of strata & property management.
Tony has held a position on the Hume Board since December 2006. Tony is a member of the Development Sub Committee and Recruitment & Remuneration Sub Committee.
"I was approached by the Hume Management and was offered a position on the Board which I considered and accepted.
Having been in the industry for some 40 years in my own Real Estate practice as an Accredited Property & Strata Manager and having accumulated an enormous wealth of knowledge in the industry, I felt that I could be of assistance to both, Hume Community Housing as an organisation Hume's clients that are in genuine need of low rental housing. I am very satisfied with the overall progress aims and success of Hume Community Housing and hope to continue as a voluntary Director for a number of years." |

Brian Lomas FCPA, MAICD
Treasurer
Brian is a Fellow (FCPA) of CPA Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Brian currently works part time as the Company Secretary and Corporate Governance Advisor of the Gladstone Area Group Apprentices Ltd and Skillsforce Ltd and recently accepted an invitation to join their Board of Directors. Brian has over 40 years of experience in senior management and executive positions in government departments, health services, charities and welfare groups.
Brian has held a position on the Hume Board since 2005. Brian is a member of the Audit & Governance Sub Committee.
“I joined the Hume Board in 2005 following an advertisement in the local paper indicating that Hume was seeking someone with financial and accounting background to assist a worthwhile NFP company supplying supported housing. Following enquiries I joined the Board, later taking on the role of Treasurer. As member of CPA I share a commitment to give back to the community for the opportunities in life that we have been blessed with. I have enjoyed my years with Hume and despite now being a resident of Gladstone in Queensland continue at this time to serve on the Board.” |

Larraine Eddy
Larraine holds a Certificate in Welfare and Advanced Certificate in Working With Older People. Larraine has over 20 years experience working with older people and for the last 15 years has been working in housing for older people through the “Assistance with Care and Housing for the Aged” program.
Larraine has held a position on the Hume Board since 2005. (Larraine previously held a position on the Hume Board from 1998-2003). Larraine is a member of the Audit & Governance Sub Committee.

Domenic Portolesi
Domenic is a lawyer admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW in 2001. He has worked in various legal firms for the past sixteen years and has been partner in his own law firm, Kazi Portolesi Lawyers since 2007.
Domenic has been a Director on the Hume Board since 2007. Domenic is a member of the Development Sub Committee. |

Ilana Crudden
Ilana holds a law degree and arts degree and was admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court in 2004. Ilana works for Mallesons Stephen Jacques and specialises in property law.
Ilana has held a position on the Hume Board since 2009. Ilana is a member of the Development Sub Committee.

Helen Yousif
Helen is originally from Iraq where she is a qualified vet. Helen has been a Hume tenant since 1997. Helen joined the Board to represent tenant’s rights and ensure their views were considered at a governance level.
Helen has held a position on the Hume Board since 2007. |

Antony Constantinides
Antony is currently the Manager - Facilities Management for the Department of Public Works. Antony currently manages the Public Works team that is responsible for the state wide delivery of facility management and cleaning services to all Public schools, TAFE's and many Government Agencies on behalf of the State Contracts Control Board.
Antony is a licensed builder and a Justice of the Peace in NSW.
Antony has owned and operated Real Estate and Property Conveyancing businesses and brings over 20 years asset management experience to the Board.
Antony joined the Hume Board in December 2010. Antony is a member of the Audit & Governance Sub Committee. |

| Judith Beveridge |
Judith Beveridge
Judith joined the Hume Board in December 2010. She has lived in the local area for over 28 years, and spent 17years running a retail business with her husband. During this time she has always been involved with supporting the community sector. In 1980 her interest was tailored into the community housing sector, tenant rights, education and their self empowerment.
In 1985 she was employed as Coordinator of Fairfield Community Tenancy Scheme and was instrumental in its amalgamation with Liverpool Rental Housing to form Hume Community Housing Association. Her employment with Hume CHA continued until her retirement in 2009.
Judith joined the Hume Board in December 2010. Judith is a member of the Recruitment & Remuneration Sub Committee.
"After being involved with Hume CHA and the community housing sector in general for many years I feel that I can offer a depth of knowledge and understanding of the history and development of the sector. During my employment at Hume I was involved with sector wide committees to look at the path forward and the establishment of the ever expanding housing sector.
I also have an understanding of what is expected as a volunteer. Since the mid 1970's I have been involved with the management of many community committees as a volunteer, through this I have also gained experience in holding executive positions. I feel that this experience will be of benefit to the Board of Hume CHA." |

Andi Csontos
Andi Csontos is a Partner at Deloitte, specialising in Occupational Health and Safety. Andi has a BSc. Psychology and Grad Dip Safety Science and has been providing consulting in the OHS industry for over 11 years.
Andi joined the Hume Board in March 2011. Andi is a member of the Recruitment & Remuneration Sub Committee.

The day to day operations of Hume Community Housing are managed by the CEO, COO and CFO and a range of staff within teams. Each team is led by a Manager and is made up of a number of staff which bring their own special qualities and experience to the running of Hume.
