Hume recognises the value of partnerships and works closely with a variety of other agencies and service providers. Many of these organisations provide important support to tenants so that they can live independently and participate in the broader community, others are important collaborators in supporting the work of Hume. The following are currently partners with Hume:
 BlueCHP
BlueCHP is a not for profit company, established to purchase or develop affordable housing.
The members of BlueCHP are:
- Argyle Community Housing
- Hume Community Housing
- Southern Cross Community Housing
- Wentworth Community Housing
- Women's Housing Company
BlueCHP will:
- Seek and create appropriate housing development and acquisition opportunities that are value for money and well located in response to identified need
- Finance affordable housing projects from government funding, private lending institutions, donations of cash, land and services
- Project manage housing constructions and acquisitions
- Provide appropriate long term housing management of these properties through its community housing members

Powerhousing
Powerhousing Australia was established in 2006 by not-for-profit community and affordable housing companies from around Australia. Powerhousing's founders are determined to build a national capacity to continue delivering community and affordable housing services to their local communities in a rapidly changing service delivery environment.

NSW Federation of Housing Associations
The NSW Federation of Housing Associations is the peak industry body for housing associations in NSW. The federation was founded in 1993 to represent the interests of housing associations to provide support and resources for their further development.
