Hume Community Housing
Hume has offices in Fairfield, Claymore and Parramatta and manages over 1700 properties across Western Sydney. We provide homes and services to more than 4000 customers.
We build new properties, manage tenancies for owners and provide services and support to our diverse customers through a range of partnerships.
Our customers include young people, seniors, families, people facing homelessness, people with disabilities and people with mental health challenges. We support them to maintain their tenancies, build resilience, participate in life, and to reach their full potential.
To do this we partner with a range of services and organisations including, social service providers, other community housing providers, financiers, developers, real estate agents and government agencies.
Hume has been awarded $73,000 in community grants through the NSW Government's Social Housing Community Improvement Fund.
We have added to our range of housing options with a new generation boarding house in Ashfield. The complex contains 21 units, all state of the art design, in a great location for our customers who are studying or working in inner city areas.
This accredited course is open to all Hume customers free of charge. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is the help provided to a person who is developing a mental health problem, or who is in a mental health crisis, until appropriate professional treatment is received or the crisis resolves.
You are invited to attend Hume's Computer drop in sessions which will be held at the Telopea Leanring Centre every Thursday between 3 and 6pm.
