Low-cost supermarkets

What is a low-cost supermarket?

A low-cost supermarket is a store that offers staple foods and fresh fruit and vegetables to hungry people at a small cost. Some organisations also offer employment opportunities at their low-cost supermarket.

These food products are supermarket quality (although sometimes are discontinued lines or have incorrect labelling) and are obtained through close relationships with local food vendors.

Low-cost supermarkets allow you to choose what items they want to take home.
